From 1 January 2026 Clinical Psychologist rates are $300 per session** Sessions are around 50+ minutes noting that some additional consultation time may be dedicated to completing administrative tasks, including writing letters to your GP or specialists
**Clients with a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session. Eligible clients will receive the Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a review by their GP required after the 6th session

We accept WorkCover clients who
have psychological services approved under an accepted claim or have provisional payments in place for a claim which includes a mental injury. A client contribution 'gap' fee of $96.09 per session applies
Our Clinical Psychologist rates are reviewed and updated from 1 January each year in line with increased Medicare rebate indexation and Australian Psychological Society recommended rates for the financial year ahead - clients are advised well in advance
Given the high community demand for psychological services, cancellations received with less than 48 hours notice or a no show will incur a fee of $300. Medicare does not cover a late cancellation or no show fee which must be paid in full before continuing therapy
